Belotero Balance+, Revanesse Versa and Versa Lips, Radiesse+, Hyperdilute Radiesse+
What Are dermal fillers?
Dermal Fillers are gels that take up space in or under the skin to help smooth wrinkles, lift skin, or fill indentations. They produce immediate results. Some fillers stimulate the growth of collagen and elastin for longer-lasting improvement.
Note: People metabolize dermal fillers at different rates, which dictates frequency of treatment.
What Is It? Belotero Balance+ is a Hyaluronic Acid Filler. Hyaluronic Acid is found naturally in the human body. This smooth, flexible gel, thinner than many, fills moderate to severe etched-in lines and wrinkles.
How often? Every 6-9 months.
Best for? Belotero Balance+ is best for filling fine lines such as vertical lip lines (“smoker’s lines”), small scars/indentations, mild lip enhancements, and more.
What Is It? Revanesse Versa is a Hyaluronic Acid Filler. This clear gel of medium thickness helps to fill in wrinkles, restore volume loss, and refine facial features. It has been proven to cause 50% less swelling than similar fillers.
How often? Every 12-18 months.
Best for? Revanesse Versa and Versa Lips are best for treating volume loss in softer areas around the mouth, cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and lip augmentation.
What is it? Radiesse+ is a Calcium Hydroxyapatite Filler. Calcium Hydroxyapatite is found naturally in the human body. This differs from Hyaluronic Acid fillers in that in addition to filling and lifting, the particles integrate in or under the skin and create a type of “scaffolding” that stimulates production of collagen and elastin. Radiesse+ immediately creates volume and provides lift while also stimulating collagen and elastin production for long-term improvement.
How often? Generally Radiesse+ requires 1-2 treatments, which last 12-18 months.
Best for? Volume loss in the temples, cheeks, lower face, and more.
What is it? Hyperdilute Radiesse+ is a technique that uses the same Radiesse+ filler as described above, but in a different way, in order to more effectively treat superficial fine lines and wrinkles on the skin’s surface by stimulating collagen and elastin growth.
How often? Generally requires 1-3 treatments, with effects lasting up to 24-36 months.
Best for? Lower face lines around the mouth, lower cheeks, sunken temples, neck laxity, decolletage crepiness, and many other uses.
