What Are Laser Treatments?

Laser treatments are procedures that use lasers to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scars, to even out skin coloring (pigmentation), and to reduce the effects of sun damage.
  • What is it?
Halo is an Erbium (not CO2) laser device that simultaneously uses two lasers of different wavelengths to precisely target damaged skin and dramatically improve any visible signs of aging. Halo can also be used to treat specific skin conditions such as acne and rosacea.
  • How often?
Recommended annually for skin cancer prevention and maintenance. Some skin conditions, such as acne, may require more frequent treatments.
  • Best for?
Sun damage (brown spots), wrinkles and skin laxity, skin cancer prevention, acne and acne scarring, rosacea, dull skin tone, enlarged pores.

  • What is it?
ProFractional therapy targets specific areas of the face and body by stimulating new collagen growth to improve skin tone and texture. It removes fractions of the skin in the region being treated, which allows for shorter healing time versus total laser resurfacing. Profractional  Resurfacing treats more severely damaged skin, deeper wrinkles, and scars.
  • How often?
Frequency depends on severity of condition being treated.
  • Best for?
Scars from acne, surgery, or burns. Also deep wrinkles above the lip and between brows.
  • What is it?
Total Laser Resurfacing is a treatment that addresses the most severe lines and wrinkles. It removes entire areas of skin to a depth specific to the needs of individual patients, allowing for regrowth of entirely new skin in the treated area.
  • How often?
Typically, only one treatment is needed.
  • Best for?
    The most extreme skin damage.
  • What is it?
A laser peel is a gentle revitalizer that removes the outermost layer of skin to improve mild fine lines, tone, and texture.
  • How often?
Can be done as often as monthly.
  • Best for?
Superficial skin damage. A quick and light refresher
